ABC's "20/20" and City of Baltimore - A special rape kit testing effort launches in the city of Baltimore, achieving impressive results: release of a wrongly convicted person from prison; solving of a 12-year-old murder case; and identification of three additional rapists.

The National Rape Evidence Project received $62,000 in contributions from sponsors and entry fees from the ChoicePoint Windward Challenge 5k Run/Walk held June 17.

Participants in the fourth annual ChoicePoint Windward Challenge included about 350 runners and walkers ranging in age from five to 71, some accompanied by dogs and others pushing baby strollers.

The overall winner of the race was Jimmy Ellison of Alpharetta whose winning time was 17 minutes, 15 seconds. The overall women’s finisher was Jaydene Moralee of Canton in a time of 20:29. The top finishers in the master’s division were Brian Potts of Marietta (17:25) and Brenda Hutchinson of Alpharetta (23:21).

The other top 10 finishers behind Ellison were Brian Potts, William Figueredo of Atlanta (18:22), Stanford Bennett of Roswell (18:42), Dennis Reardon of Canton (18:48), Howard Brummel of Woodstock (18:56), Royal Madison of Atlanta (18:59), Mark Caruso of Alpharetta (19:03), Justin Byrd of Alpharetta (19:12) and Glen Dennis of Hiram (19:21).

Joining Moralee in the top 10 in the overall women’s division were Caitlin German of Alpharetta (20:42), Callie Rabun of Alpharetta (22:03), Ann Yarnell of White (23:09), Brenda Hutchinson, Ann Russo of Alpharetta (23:29), Wendy Cassada of Cumming (23:42), Lola Robertson of Alpharetta (24:36), Kelsey Surbaugh of Atlanta (25:18) and Mary Naylor of Atlanta (25:33).

Awards were also presented to the top finishers in age groups ranging from 10 years and under all the way up those exceeding 70 years of age. The youngest boy was Bradley Dunham, age six, of Alpharetta, who completed the course in 39:43. The youngest girl was Amy Sleater, age eight, of Alpharetta, with a time of 41:11. The senior competitor was Don McClellan, 71, of Smyrna whose time was 33:22.
